1. FEBRUARY 6th - Units AGM & Social
     Annual AGM and Social atfter.

2. MARCH 5/6 & 7th - PRIVATE BATTLE - ASHBY De La      Zouch. Against the GD. Details to follow.

3. APRIL 3/4/5th - FORT NELSON - near Portsmouth.
     Fort Nelson is a Historical Napoleonic Fort and this year we are      stationed down the stockade tunnel where you can enjoy a guided      tour around our living history encampment and battlements.

4. APRIL 24/25th - BUSHEY HALL - More details to follow.


5. MAY 15/16th - KELVENDON HATCH - 'Bunker Bash' Essex.
     We will have Red Army trenches to man all weekend with areas     for communication, eating and rest and of course front line duties.     Come and see our living history trench and static display, and with     many other activities the organisers have catered for the whole     family.

6. JUNE 19/20th - BOVINGDON TANK MUESUM - Public      show with free access to the muesum. More details to follow.

7. JULY 17/18th - KELMARSH HALL - Leicestershire.
    An event that the 2nd Guards has supported English Heritage     from the very beginning including the early days at Kirby Hall in     the early part of the this century, This show is getting better every     year including unit members taking part in the Western Front     public battle as French resistance fighters!
    Come and see our living history display and chat to friendly Red     Army reenactors. A good quality reenactors event!

8. AUGUST 7/8th - PEAK RAIL - Derbyshire.
    A relaxed event with our living history display and a public battle     on top! Enjoy a trip on the period train and carriages before the     battle!!

9. AUGUST 28/29/30th - MILITARY ODYSSEY - Detling, kent
    The biggest show for the 2nd Guards Rifle Division who are part of     the EASTERN FRONT BATTLE. We will have our Russian T34     tank and Gaz jeeps, and there will also be German armour and a     Russian YAK fighter flying overhead, as well as Russian cavalry,     and plenty of Red Army and German troops. The BEST battle to     date! See the best in action and if you want to be part then you can     be part of the 2nd Guards Rifle Division!

10. SEPTEMBER 11/12th - VICTORY SHOW - Cosby. TBC

11. SEPTEMBER - Kelvendon Secret Nuclear Bunker -        Essex. TBC

 

 

EVENTS for 2010
These are the the events that the 2nd Guards Rifle Division will be attending for 2010, so why not come along and see our living history display and chat to our friendly unit members who will give some insight into the Red Army of 1941 - 1945. We are open to new members from the young amongst us to the experienced in life, as it was during the Great Patriotic War.
