Escorts Construction Equipment Unveils India’s First Pick-n-Carry Hybrid Crane and Safe Single-Frame Crane at EXCON 2022

Escorts Construction Equipment (ECE), the business segment of Escorts Limited, today launched NXT13DC CNG, India’s first hybrid Pick-n-Carry crane, with dual fuel (diesel and CNG) and RC2522, India’s first safe single frame crane with 25t lifting capacity at EXCON 2022 in Bangalore.

First in the series of green products, the newly launched NXT13DC CNG crane in the 13 ton class features a CNG compatible 49.5 HP BSIII engine and heavy duty straight axle rear axle. Developed with indigenous R&D, aligned with the Make in India initiative, the NXT13DC CNG crane has a truck-like appearance and a turning radius of just 6.3m with standard features. Powered by a hybrid engine, the crane offers low operating cost and aft deck utility for moving material and labor from site to site. It is equipped with a fully motorized 3-part boom with a maximum height of 13 m and heavy-duty 14×24 rear tires that guarantee the long life of the machine. Unmatched in safety, the crane is equipped with front outriggers for stability and safety when erecting or working at height.

Set to change the way cranes are done in India, the new RC2522, Mono Chassis Safe Crane with 25T lifting capacity comes equipped with anti-tilt features that provide increased site safety and innovative technology that makes it superior to conventional machines. The RC2522 crane offers the best durability, high capacity, stability and versatility of operations. Powered by a 110 HP Kirlosker engine, the crane has an automatic transmission and a tight turning radius of just 6.6 m. Its ergonomic cabin offers the best comfort for 2 people and the front-wheel drive offers high traction on rough terrain. Overall in style, the crane can be used as a telehandler with a maximum capacity of 8T. It comes with a man carrying a basket and a collapsible jib. The boom and frame of this crane are made from high structural strength materials for better endurance.

Attending EXCON 2022 in Bengaluru, Escorts also showcased its strong product portfolio in material handling, soil compaction and earthmoving equipment through its Yellow Line and White Line series. The Yellow Line series is designed for all standard applications and caters to a wide customer base in the Indian market. The White Line series is intended to meet the higher performance demands of fleet owners and corporate customers.

The product range in cranes includes the new F15 Fighter equipped with a 75 HP VECV engine, the new Pick & Carry Hydra 18 crane of the 18 ton class, another new introduction in the F35 crane of the Pick & Carry Safe segment of the 35T class.

In the backhoe segment, the launch of the new JUNGLI HT backhoe loader with a reliable high-torque turbocharged diesel engine and the reliable XT 1610 which offers high performance, larger buckets and the best digging depth and dumping height.

In Road Machinery, Escorts introduces Whiteline 5090 series soil compactor in 11T class and 5030 mini roller and new launch 585 motor grader in 10 ton class.

Safety is the cornerstone of productivity and operational efficiency upon which all Escort construction and material handling equipment is built. ECE plans to create a crane platform and product variants suitable for different tonnage segments.

ECE presented the latest version of its existing products and innovative new equipment at EXCON.

Shares of Escorts Limited last traded on the BSE at Rs. 1648.30 from the previous close of Rs. 1549.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 46,741 in over 2,663 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1660.05 and intraday low of 1550.00. Net turnover during the day was Rs. 75852534.00.
