Every Peacekeeper and Survivor Upgrade in Dying Light 2
Do you join the Blue Helmets to maintain order, or the Survivors to try to live? Here is your motivation.
One of the main tenants of Dying Light 2 is that it lets you choose between two factions, Survivors and Peacekeepers. This will change some plot elements and the characters you will meet, but you can also assign different structures across the open world to either faction in order to unlock specific upgrades.
Even if you decide to help the Peacekeepers in the story, you can choose to award parts of the map to survivors, and vice versaso it’s a pretty open system depending on what kind of updates you want to see. Upgrades will only work for the part of the map controlled by which faction, so don’t expect to see air bags in Peacekeeper territory.
Generally, Peacekeepers focus more on weapons and structures, while Survivors set up devices that help you navigate the world.. It’s basically split like the skill tree, with one focusing on movement and the other on combat.

Which one should you go for?
It entirely depends on the style of play you choose. Generally, Peacekeeper upgrades are more situational and focused on combat scenarios, while Survivors give you more movement options..
In our experience, survivor upgrades are much more fun to use and add to the game’s strongest element – its traversal. Meanwhile, Peacekeeper upgrades don’t give you any XP for triggering any of the traps, meaning you’re taking away potential experience gained from taking down zombies. The Peacekeepers give you a crossbow though, so they have that going for them.
Unfortunately, the most useful skill is at the fourth level of both factions. – Crossbow for Peacekeepers and Survivor Revival for Survivors. You also cannot distribute them evenly, so at least one of the factions can reach level four. It’s worth basing it on which of these two upgrades you want more of.
