Family members of BSF chief constable Shishupal Singh Bagadia, who was killed in a violent protest in Congo, denounced the government on Monday for allegedly not sharing any information with them about the attack and the left in the dark.

We know how we’ve spent the last six-seven days, how difficult it was , we were crying but unfortunately there was no one to tell us what really happened,” Devi told reporters in the presence of Dotasra.
She also asked Dotasra, “As the chairperson of the state party, I had expectations of you because this is your region (constituency).” To which the Congress leader replied that he was infected with COVID-19 and was hospitalized, so he could not visit her sooner.
He assured that he and the state government were supporting the family.
Bagadia’s daughter said they were waiting for the body and trying to contact authorities, but there was no proper information.
“We want to know exactly what happened to my father. He served the nation more than his family. We want to know under what circumstances this incident happened. It should be investigated,” she said.
“Everyone just tweeted and nobody visited,” she said.
At Barmer, the last rites of BSF jawan Sanwalaram Vishnoi were performed with military honors.
The body kept at BSF battalion headquarters in Barmer and was taken to his village Baand in Gudhamalani, nearly 70 km away, in a decorated truck. A large number of vehicles were also part of the procession. Thousands of people from both sides of the road gathered all along the route and held up slogans like ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Sanwalaram Amar Rahe’.
Forestry Minister and MP for Gudhamalani, Hemaram Chaudhary, Labor Minister Sukhram Vishoi and other public officials and officers paid floral tributes to the fallen soldier.
Vishnoi’s wife said she was proud of her husband’s supreme sacrifice and would send her two sons to serve in the military.
