“Game Of Thrones” Season 8 News: Casting Begins For Military Guard Role; Alice Nokes confirmed | Entertainment News
“Game of Thrones” has released a new casting notice for a military guard.
According to Observers on the wall, the HBO fantasy drama series is looking for an actor to play an anonymous military guard. The character is between 25 and 35 years old, the review describing looking for an “excellent fit and agile actor with a distinctive good face”. Actors of all ethnicities are invited to audition.
The post postulates that the role doesn’t appear to be big, with filming only scheduled for one day. It is possible that this military guard is part of the army of Cersei (Lena Headey) or Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) Unsullied. Still, it looks like the relay is big enough to warrant a casting notice.
It has also been confirmed that Alice Nokes will appear in the upcoming eighth season, portraying a girl named Willa. Fans can search for Nokes, known for her work on “EastEnders,” in an episode directed by David Nutter. Note that Nutter is directing episodes 1, 2 and 4 of the new season.
Everything should come to a head in the final season of the hugely popular series. With the White Walkers breaking through the wall, chaos will inevitably ensue. The set of Winterfell has been seen in flames before, although it remains to be seen whether this is the result of the White Walkers or something else. Of course, this could be the work of one of Dany’s dragons, but it’s also important to remember that the Night King acquired one of his dragons towards the end of Season 7.
Production of the eighth season of “Game of Thrones” is currently taking place in various locations. As previously reported, the set of King’s Landing in Dubrovnik has been spotted and rumors have circulated that Kit Harington was in the Croatian town for the filming.
Season 8 of “Game of Thrones” will air in 2019.
