Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange traded 149 points or 0.89% higher at 16,807, signaling Dalal Street was heading for a positive start on Tuesday. Here are a dozen stocks that could buzz the most in today’s trading:


EC information systems:
Shares of the company, known as MapmyIndia, will debut in Dalal Street on Tuesday. The Rs 1,040 crore IPO opened from December 9 to 13 in the price range of Rs 1,000 to 1,033 per share. Prior to listing, he commanded a premium of Rs 500 each on the gray market.

Tech Mahindra: The IT company said it was working with Telefónica Germany to digitally transform its microwave network with an open software-defined network (SDN). Telefónica strives to standardize its management interface by collaborating with several suppliers and partners.

Cement Shree: A delegation of Shree Cement officials met with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and held talks for setting up a Greenfield cement factory in Guntur district at an estimated cost of Rs 1,500 crore.


Wipro:
The IT major has announced that it will acquire Edgile, headquartered in Austin, Texas, for $230 million, a move that will strengthen the IT major’s role in cybersecurity services.

Telecoms: India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio gained 17.6 lakh mobile subscribers in October 2021 while rivals Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea lost 14.5 lakh cumulative users in the month, latest data shows. TRAI.

Adani Companies: The Adani Group flagship company said it received the award letter from the Uttar Pradesh Highways Industrial Development Authority to implement three major sections of the Ganga highway in open field.

Escorts: Shareholders of agricultural machinery and construction equipment giant Escorts Ltd have approved the preferential allotment of nearly 94 lakh of shares to Japanese Kubota Corporation, which seeks to take majority control of the Indian partner and become a co-developer.

Tata Power: State-owned SECI has awarded a contract to the Tatas to set up a 100 MW solar project with battery energy storage system (BESS) in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. The project will demonstrate how, using a large battery storage system like BESS, solar energy can be used to provide clean energy during evening peak hours.

Vedanta: The Anil Agarwal-led miner said it had acquired Nicomet, a major Goa-based nickel and cobalt producer. The acquisition is in line with Vedanta’s ESG mission and is a big step towards supporting India’s carbon neutral goals. With this acquisition, Vedanta became the sole nickel producer in the country.


RailTel Corporation of India:
The state-owned railway company has received a work order from the Defense R&D Organization for the expansion and capacity improvement of the CIAG network at a total cost of Rs 68.31 crore. All work must be completed within seven months.

Rolex rings: The recently listed auto parts manufacturer has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat for the development of Textile and Apparel Park, Computer Park and Toy Park in Gondal district.

Global Infrastructure KPI: The company has received confirmation of the order for the execution of a solar energy project with a capacity of 2.50 MWdc in the “Captive Power Producer (CPP)” segment.
