Usher escorts Georgia Tech to 75-61 win over Florida State | Sports

ATLANTA (AP) — Jordan Usher had 19 points, eight rebounds, five steals and five assists and Georgia Tech beat Florida State 75-61 on Wednesday night.
Despite entering the game leading the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Yellow Jackets (9-10, 2-6) had won back-to-back wins over the Seminoles, including the post-conference tournament. -last year’s season.

Georgia Tech’s defense proved problematic for the Seminoles as they had 10 interceptions in the first half, which led to 12 points. FSU returned it 12 times alone before the break.
Butler kicked a dunk to give the Seminoles a 26-25 lead with 6:05 left before halftime. From there, Georgia Tech turned hot and closed out the half beating the Seminoles 19-7.
Anthony Polite scored 11 goals and Naheem McLeod 10 for Florida State, which saw its six-game winning streak come to an end.
Florida State (13-6, 6-3 ACC) hosts Virginia Tech on Saturday while Georgia Tech hosts Miami on Saturday.
